Spicy Ginger Cookies

I’ve always been a huge fan of gingerbread, and love the scent of gingerbread cookies baking in my oven. Although I did make a batch of my usual buttery gingerbread cookies to decorate this year, I also decided to add these spicy ginger cookies this year and really love how they turned out.

They have a crisp exterior due to the fact you roll them in turbinado sugar, though the interior is much softer. The flavor is reminiscent of traditional gingerbread, and these cookies are delicious dipped into coffee.

Buon Appetito!
