I’d love to win the 7-quart Kitchen Aid mixer because I have enjoyed creating food from scratch for several years but have avoided recipes that require heavy mixing, kneading, etc. This mixer would enable me to make recipes from A to Z and enhance my time in the kitchen, which I already love.

My friend and I just began teaching a lifelong learning class entitled “Italian Cooking 101”. We have ten participating students and twenty-eight on a waiting list for the next class. I have been using a hand-held Kitchen Aid mixer for years. It’s amazingly powerful for such a small tool, but my hands do get tired on complicated recipes. I would be thrilled to have a stand mixer!

The French may have coined the phrase ‘joie de vie’ but it is the Italians who personify it. And, how better than in their culinary repetoire. A mixer such as this puts the ‘frosting’ on life and would be the perfect tool for creating all things ‘dolce’.

I have been using a old fashion hand mixer, there are so many more recipes I could do with a Kitchen aid, one recipe I try to make is bread and they say to use a dough hook to mix the dough, my hand mixer can not use a dough hook and there are many more things I could do with a Kitchen Aid

Growing up with a full Italian family, I watched my mother and aunts and grandmothers (and grandfathers and uncles and dad!) cook and helped them with their task. I wasn’t the best cook, I found, as I got older and tried the recipes. But in the past year, I’ve been learning again! My next task is to tackle tiramisu and amaretti cookies, and for both, I need a blender like this. I’d love to finally master my family’s recipes and cook like an Italian woman should!

Wow, would this be fabulous! I have an old Kitchen Aid that’s beginning to show it’s age… I use it all the time for various duties. This new machine would help me out with my new hobby of baking all of our bread! My machine struggles sometimes with certain doughs! A powerful, large, red beauty is just what I need!
I too always wanted a Kitchenaid stand mixer, but really my kitchen is small and doesn’t have much counter space. My daughter and her husband love to cook and just moved in to their first home and this would be a great house warming gift.

For a number of years now I have forgone making a number of dishes that require alot of mixing because of time constraints and because I have already burned out two food processors trying to knead dough. I no longer make fresh pasta nor do I do cucidata cookies which my family loves. Winning this mixer would allow me to do this as being retired would give me all the time I need also.

The KitchenAid in the kitchen was a sign of a true foodie and I would love to win the red KitchenAid to compliment my love of food and the love I have of sharing recipes with my loved ones-especially my nieces and nephews who love to help me around in the kitchen! The KitchenAid might inspire them to follow the family recipes that we so lovingly share with others!
I have an endless list of reasons why i would love a mixer but I’ll only mention the first two: 1) If i had a mixer, every time I’m at the mall I’d walk by the mixer of my dream and just smile, instead of staring at it like a little girl in front of a ton of cupcakes. I’d bake the cupcakes and stare at them in my house…or more likely eat them. 2) My American husband’s family and friends expect me to cook divinely and profusely just because I’m from Italy…I have a reputation to uphold here! A mixer would definitely come in handy! 🙂
My mixer is about 15 years old and still going strong. If I win a new one, I’ll hand down my existing one to my daughter who also likes to bake! (The other daughter got one of her own from me for Christmas this year.)

I have been cooking since I was a very young girl. I made my very first chocolate cake from scratch at age 5, and was making homemade pizza (even grinding the flour from whole grains!) since I was 10 years old! Lack of the most recent technology has never prevented me from cooking on a regular basis, but now I am a career woman managing a home I have found that my time is more precious. I have been wanting a kitchen aid for YEARS! Not only will I LOVE the ability to efficiently “whip up” double, triple, and quadruple batches of my latest favorite baked goods, but I will be able to more effectively expand my skills (especially in the world of gourmet!) with the pasta maker, meat grinder, and the other wonderful extended tools this product boasts! The Kitchen Aid mixer that I use almost every day is about 35 years old. I have all the attachments, and I use it for everything. Lately, it sometimes makes a strange little noise while mixing. I think it’s getting ready to retire. I have a red Kitchen Aid food processor and a red Kitchen Aid toaster in my kitchen; a new red Kitchen Aid mixer would be the perfect addition

Deborah, I would love to win the mixer. I have an old one (1974) and it still works but sometimes the 4 quart bowl is just too small and the mixer starts to make noises if it runs too long. Also, now that my sister and I are starting to make pastas more often, the 7 quart would be great, just what we ‘knead’. Thanks for your website and wonderful recipes and insights into Italian cuisine.
My 4.5 quart Kitchenaid is over 10 years old and in desperate need of replacement. Oh what wonderful things I can bake with this wonderful 7 quart model!
I have read so many good reports on this model! My current food processor is showing its age and is not nearly as versatile as this one. As I am in my 70s and developing arthritis this would be a godsend as I refuse to buy supermarket bread and much prefer my own. The mincer attachment and sausage stuffer would be a magnificent bonus.

Hmm, a 7 quart mixer, the mind boggles, but to be able to whip and stir and beat those cakes and breads and pasta doughs, , whilst fidgeting with other things at the same time, sounds heavenly. colour? Red of course .
My biggest goal in life is to make my mother proud. She is an avid baker and cook. Some say she should open her own shop. She has a very old kitchen aid that is falling apart. To be able to surprise her with a brand new one for her birthday (Feb 15th) would be a dream come true for me. I love homemade bread but never make it because I have a hard time kneading the dough. Coming from an Italian family, cooking is our life. Although I worked a lot, my daughter Nina learned to cook at a very young age. She is eighteen now and has been talking about culinary school for many years. I am hoping that this mixer would inspire her to follow her dreams, which she seems to be doubting lately.

I recall my Norwegian Grandmother Ingrid using hers in the early ’50’s and all thru the decades following. This appliance has done more for American families (and society) than any computer or cell phone combined. I was drawn to Kitchen Aid many years ago, but, not being able to afford it, I have admired this gem from afar. My parents, both great cooks, emigrated from Italy to America in the early twentieth century.
Although I remember some meals they prepared I know that I could never be as good as they were.
I’m learning to cook, and a Kitchen Aid would help me prepare different parts of my menu professionally. In fact, I’ve taken several cooking classes at our local Adult Ed School including Italian Regional Cooking and Mediterranean cooking. I need the proper tools to do the professional job that I envision and that I know in my heart that I can do.
Kitchen Aid would be the answer to my prayer.

I would love to have a bright red Kitchen Aid. They are the very best mixers made. I have one that is 36 years old and it is beginning to wear down a bit. It does not have a grounded plug, it’s that old. However, it has served me faithfully all these years through cakes, cookies, breads, and many, many batches of mashed potatoes.

My Kitchen Aid is so old and not powerfull enough to make some of my son’s favorite Christmas Cookies. I couldn’t make his favorite batch this year. I used to knead the dough by hand, but now that I’m older and have arthritis in my hands I can’t do that anymore. I bake at least twice a week and that’s why I really need a brand new one.
I am using my mom’s old mixer, oooooold. Doesn’t have all the amazing attachments, and it’s just not pretty anymore (smile). THAT is why I’d love to win.

I would love to win this mixer for my daughter. She is getting married in May and with the cost of the wedding I will not be giving her a big present. I don’t think if someone else was paying for the wedding I could afford this wonderful mixer. My daughter at the age of 22 has chronic tendonitis in both of her shoulders and I don’t think that her body will be up to using a hand mixer. She loves to bake and at this young age is already known for her talent in the kitchen. To be able to give her this top of the line Kitchen Aid would be icing on her wedding cake.

My mixer is a handheld model I received as a wedding gift. That was over 40 years ago and it is still going strong. BUT, now I have to make so many cookies for all my grandchildren that the old mixer gets hot. I’d love to see how fast I could bake those cookies with a grand mixer like this hot red one! When my mother died, leaving me her wonderful Kitchen Aid mixer, my son asked me for it — and since he is an ever improving cook and has cooked professionally, I gave it to him. Since then he has made delicious cheesecakes and bread and all kinds of involved pastries. I do not regret my decision, but I would love to have a Kitchen Aid mixer too!

31 years ago my grandma and grandpa gave me a kitchenaid as a wedding present. It has been used and used and used. Although it still is on my counter, it does have a some quirks. Like after about 2 minutes, it only runs on high. But it is 31 years old! I would like to add some attachments like a meat grinder, pasta maker, and grain grinder. Thank you for the opportunity. I have to mix every thing with a hand held mixer because I don’t currently have a counter top mixer. I will be able to make better cakes and cookies with a counter top mixer.
Cooking is my passion. It brings me true joy. It gives me an escape. Even if I don’t win the mixer I’m happy there are so many others who share my love of all things food.
I have always dreamed of owning this mixer, but there was always another pressing priority that took its place. I still keep dreaming though.

I used to own a kitchenAid mixer, I purchased while attending culinary school. I loved it and used it all the time. One day in the process of moving everything that our family owned was stolen, including my mixer. The moving/storage company hadn’t paid there insurance so after legal action and a lot of heartache we ended up with nothing. With a lot of help we have managed to repurchase many necessities. Such as beds, plates, linens, etc. I have been using a small Cuisinart hand mixer and wishing that I would some day have a staple KitchenAid stand mixer. What it mean to me to win one? The world! Because I love to cook and bake for my loved one’s and I would be getting back a piece of my kitchen I have missed so much… =)

My 11 year-old daughter and I have been spending time together in the kitchen creating delicious cookies and cupcakes…good quality time for us. Right now we are using a 1970’s standing mixer that has been passed down from my mother-in-law. We love using it as it makes us feel she is a part of our baking time together. I would love to get this kitchenaid mixer…i have never owned one and 7qt would be the way to go!!
I would love this for my daughter who works alot of hours and has little time to teach the girls how to bake. this would take the standing time off her hands, so that she can go on to the next step. She has been using a hand mixer and I cannot tell you how many times the girls have lifted the mixer up and it would spray cake mix all over the area they are working in.
I have had and used my old Kitchenaide for over 25 years-still works great but recently had to undergo spinal surgery and can no longer lift- that lift feature would allow me to continue baking with a sourdough starter that is also well over 25 years old! thanks for the chance to win!

Would love to win this mixer for my daughter. I inherited an older white Kitchenaid from my Mother-in-law and would like to pass the Kitchenaid tradition on to my daughter. There’s no other mixer I would rather have.

I would love to have the KitchenAid 7 Quart Stand Mixer because I do a big variety of desserts and different foods for my grown up family. I would love to win the Kitchen Aide mixer because you need great tools to create great foods. Kitchen Aide has been around for years and has become a household name and to own one is to truly appreciate its capability. I remember my great grandmother having one in the kitchen when I was a child. I would love to have this red one in mine to pass along to my children some day, just like passing on a family tradition.

This beautiful KitchenAide mixer reminds me of big mixer my grandmother used to have. It dominated her counter and her cooking. When she became ill and had to give up her house to live in a nursing home, I inherited the mixer (quite old at that time, just like my grammy) and it broke shortly after. Perhaps it just missed my grandmother and refused to go on without her In any event, I’ve always wanted one for myself but never have had the funds to buy my own. I sure would love to win this one

The mixer is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I need to prepare nutritious meals for my family. On October 30, 2011 my 25 year old daughter passed away from Met Breast Cancer (estrogen receptor/Her2+) in a nutshell diet and birth control pills were the culprits. I myself have been eating healthy for several years and my adult children who “thought” they were invisible have had a change of heart since losing their sister and now would like to learn to cook so, the mixer would be a welcome addition in my kitchen and very handy during my adult children cooking lessons.
I have wanted a kitchenaid mixer for as long as I can remember. Just could never afford one.

I got my first KitchenAid mixer right after college. I have had it for 24 years now. I would love to win this mixer! I was given a 5qt KitchenAid mixer about 8 years ago and use it for bread & pizza dough weekly, in addition to basically everything else I bake or grate/slice (have that attachment). I love it and just this week it started to make a bad clunking sound and jammed while kneading bread. I’m hoping to find out what the problem is and if I have to replace it I’d love it to be this one!

I’d love to win one. My kids have told me that my cooking has gotten worse lately and they are bored with the foods I’ve been making. I want to make new and exciting meals, but the recipes that I have saved all require a heavy duty stand mixer or me standing up for an hour on my feet using my arm muscles until they break with my hand held mixer. I would give anything to own a KitchenAid stand mixer like this. My kids will love you and KitchenAid forever!!!
