Friday Photos From Umbria ~ April 19th, 2019

I am a little late posting photos for this week because we have been busy since returning from Emilia Romagna. Earlier in the week, we visited the sleepy town of Rasiglia which is affectionately called the Venice of Umbria. Having finally visited Rasilia, I’d say that was a stretch, but it was a cute little town and sits up in hills behind Foligno. The town has three mountain streams running through town that they have harnessed by building canals for the water to run through.

Yesterday we took a ride into Perugia as it was a gorgeous day and we just needed to get out. There is an Easter market being held in Perugia, selling everything from handcraft art to antiques, with lots of stalls selling regional food as well. Today we are heading up to a local restaurant for Easter lunch.
