Spaghetti With Shrimp & Artichokes For Pomi Tomatoes


I believe that everyone should have a few easy go-to recipes that they can pull together quickly to create a delicious family meal. Pasta is always an excellent choice for busy weeknights with the family as there are many recipes, like this one, that can be completed from start to finish in under thirty minutes.

I created this quick and easy recipe for Pomi tomatoes and most of the ingredients apart from the frozen shrimp, and fresh herbs can be found in the pantry. I have been developing recipes for Pomi the past few months which has been completely enjoyable since Pomi is my favorite brand of tomato products!

The flavor of the sauce is similar to Puttanesca, but shrimp replace the anchovies creating a heartier main course. All that is needed to round out the menu is a loaf of crusty Italian bread and a crisp green salad. I added some chili flakes in my recipe, but if you are preparing this dish for young children, I’d leave those out and just pass them around at the table for anyone who prefers a bit of heat. You could also use either Pomi strained tomatoes or chopped whichever you prefer, and in place of the spaghetti, penne or fusilli pasta would work just fine.
